The Copenhagen Ministry of Balboa is proud to once again announce a Copenhagen Balboa Weekend with the fabulous teachers Solen le Bihan & Laurent Wallet. Since last fall edition we have expanded our concept with our own Friday party and a “new dancers” class during Saturday, so don’t miss it!
On October 28th-30th, the Copenhagen Balboa Weekend (CBW) will take place!
In addition to the ever-important evening parties with live music, CBW features two days of classes with Solen le Bihan & Laurent Wallet + Annie Skoglund & Gašper Hrovat. Some of you may remember Solen & Laurent from CBW 2019 & 2021 where they taught a series of much-appreciated classes and Gašper both teaching and blisfully DJ’ing on our latest CBW Spring ’22
Friday and Saturday evening parties will be held at Serapions-Ordenen (Haveselskabetsvej 3B). Saturday and Sunday classes and tea-dance will be held the same place,
The Band for Friday will be Kira Martini and friends and the band for Saturday evening will be Rasmus Vennevold and friends – playing in the wonderful video with Solen & Laurent. Rest assured, you will not be disapointed …!!!

Classes and levels
- Level Inez: You have danced a little bit of balboa, but you are still getting your sea legs. Perhaps you have completed Level 1 with Ministry of Balboa or Happy Feet Studio, or you are a lindy hopper who have taken tasters and danced balboa socially.
1 x 4 hours (Saturday, 11:00-1300 & 14:00-16:00), taught by Anni Skoglund & Gašper Hrovat.
- Level Takier: You know the basics of Balboa and dance comfortably if the music is not too fast (corresponds to having completed Level 1 & 2 at Ministry of Balboa).
2 x 3 hours, taught by Solen le Bihan & Laurent Wallet (Saturday 10:00-13:00 & Sunday 14:00-17:00) - Level Desatoff: You are an experienced Balboa dancer. You can lead or follow many moves and variations, and you feel comfortable dancing at all tempos (corresponds to Level 3 at Ministry of Balboa)
2 x 3 hours , taught by Solen le Bihan & Laurent Wallet (Saturday 14:00-17:00 & Sunday 10:00-13:00)

Party
- Friday night with live band Kira Martini & friends – DJ Gašper
- Saturday night with live band Rasmus Vennevold & friends – DJ Gašper
- Sunday tea dance & afterparty at Serapion from 17:00-21:00 or whenever last peeps leave 😉

- Inez and Friday+Saturday parties: 500 DKK –
- Takier OR Desatoff and Friday+Saturday parties: 900 DKK
- Takier AND Desatoff and Friday+Saturday parties: 1,100 DKK
- Party pass for Friday and Saturday: 250 DKK
- Party ticket for one night (at the door only): 150 DKK
- Sunday afterparty: free and open for all Balboa/Shag/Lindy/Slowbal/dancers.
